Nutella is delicious on toast or a sandwich, but did you know just how many other uses it has. This guide will look at some fun nutella recipes to make the most of the favorite hazelnut chocolate spread.
Nutella Banana Bread
Bananas and chocolate go extremely well together, so nutella banana bread is delicious. For this recipe you will need:
– 2 cups of flour
– 3/4 cup of nutella
– 1/2 cup of milk
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 large ripe bananas – mashed
– 2 eggs
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1/4 cup of butter
– 1/2 tsp of salt
– 3/4 tsp of baking soda
The oven needs to be preheated to 350 degrees. While you are waiting for this to warm up, start preparing the banana bread. Use a non stick spray, or butter to coat a loaf pan to make it easy to remove once you have finished cooking.
Put the flour, salt and baking soda together in a bowl and mix. In another bowl beat the eggs together. Start to add the milk, vanilla extract and mashed bananas. Continue beating the mixture to combine everything properly.
Put the 3/4 cup of nutella in the microwave for around 15 seconds. This should melt the nutella, mix it to make sure it is evenly heated. Add half of the banana and egg mixture to the melted nutella and mix well.
Then spoon some of the nutella batter into the tin, and then spoon some of the plain batter in. This will create a lovely marble effect which looks just as good as it tastes. The loaf needs to be baked for around an hour until it is golden brown on the top. Leave it to cool for 15 minutes before trying to remove it from the tin.
