I have been seeing a ton of fabulous vintage stoves on pinterest lately and became curious about what it would really cost to get one and have it fixed up and restored. Well, as you may have guessed… It’s not cheap. But, if having one of these beauties in your home is on your bucket list, here’s some tips that should help you a great deal!
First, eBay is your friend when it comes to finding a stove like this. And for whatever reason, it seems that California is the hot bed if you are on the look out for one of these. A great tip I discovered was the website uship.com. Most sellers of large items like this are restrained to local only deals but with uShip you can find an affordable shipper that will help make the deal happen!
Basically, it’s like ebay for shipping. You get several people to bid on your shipping needs and this is especially helpful if you find a great stove on ebay that’s in Arizona but you happen to live in Florida for example.
