Collecting wine bottles for this DIY is another great excuse for drinking wine. (As if I need an excuse. Lol.) Scissors And Steam, thanks for the great tutorial! Step-by-step photos are where it’s at. This is super tricky and a little on the dangerous side but I think my skill level might be there. I know my drinking level is!

Sweet tea is the perfect summer drink for a ‘barefoot blue jeans night.’ It is crisp and refreshing and oh so delicious! Sun tea brews slowly in cold water and ends up having less caffeine than regular tea and isn’t as bitter. Brewing it in mason jars is a stroke of genius! When the tea is ready just add some fruit, chill, and serve. You could be drinking this sweet summer treat in as little as one hour!

Warm weather is wonderful. I love the sun, swimming pools, watermelon, and almost all things summer. One thing I don’t like about the rise in temperatures are warm beverages.
Blech! This video, featured over at Youtube by Dave Hax, shows how to cool a hot drink within two minutes! Go back to chemistry class and see how science can speed up the chilling process.
Here’s the video… Enjoy!
Check out this cooler/table! Isn’t it great?! I found it over at Lifehacker and I am so excited to feature it. Summer time + no TV + friends + food + cold drinks within arms reach = backyard bliss. I am in love with this ideas and need to find out how I can get one of these for myself.

Yikes! This looks amazing! Best Yummy Recipes has a fabulous tutorial (super detailed) on how to make bright and sweet Skittles flavored vodka. I thought it would be more difficult but they have have broken it down so well! It is a little time consuming, Skittles are easy to eat but they take a while to dissolve. What a hit this vodka will be at your next party! Totally worth all the work.

I dare you to only have one of these tasty treats. Refreshing Italian sodas are a favorite of mine and I love being able to make them whenever I want. For this ‘copycat’ recipe you will need club soda, half and half, Torani syrup, ice, whipping cream, and a cherry for the top. It couldn’t be easier or more delicious. Sweet!
