how to add glass marbles to a fence

I saw this idea on pinterest several times and thought I’d share it with you guys in case you haven’t seen it yet. It’s an easy way to add some fun and whimsy to your backyard.

Basically, you just need to drill holes in your fence and cram the marbles in. Make sure you only do this on fencing where you own the land on both sides LOL. Your neighbors may wonder what the heck is going on if you start drilling little holes in your fence looking on to their property.

You can get creative too. Try writing a word with the marbles or doing a fun pattern like a star or a heart.

There are a few tips you should know too. Head over to the C.R.A.F.T blog for a great post on how to marble your fence. Jamie has lots of great projects and tips throughout her blog as well so don’t forget to browse around!

Marble Fence

  1. I love this idea but my husband would kill me if I drilled holes in our fence so I think I can do the same thing by using marbles that are flat on one side and glue them with liquid nail.

  2. I can’t believe how simple and though stunning this idea is. FANTASTIC! Where is my drill???? Gosh I don’t have any marbles yet!!!!!

  3. I share a weathered fence with my elderly neighbor and suggested this for a little interest. She is thrilled, so I may approach my neighbors on the other side too.

  4. But you will not see the light shining through. Maybe you could do a sample in a picket and he will come around.

  5. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism
or copyright violation? My website has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it
is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help prevent content
from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

  6. Wow that was strange. I just wrote an very
long comment but after I clicked submit my comment
didn’t show up. Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over
again. Anyways, just wanted to say superb blog!

  8. Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no
back up. Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?

  14. suc a great i idea i just got my fence i can do fun things to it like this! We recently bought a house in Wellington, FL and needed to replace a fence that was literally falling apart. We figured we needed a completely new fence installation so we contacted Fence Crafters. I would highly recommend them. Their materials were quality and their crew was awesome!

  15. Irrespective of how many photo sales space pics you’ve gotten, you can prepare them beautifully
collectively in a single body. So even for those who solely have four
picture booth pics that you wish to display, you may arrange them in an evenly
spaced row, and even as a square. You may have an exquisite
piece of photo booth pic art!
