These are super cute and I can’t wait to make a batch myself this holiday season! One of our facebook fans submitted this photo and I was able to dig up the original recipe and blog post. It is in Polish so make sure you are using your google chrome browser to get a translation automatically. See the original recipe here: – Snowmen Cookies

I also found a second recipe that is in English in case you do not have a translator. Check it out here: – Melted Snowmen Tutorial

Happy baking!

  1. I’ve downloaded the receipe site – but I too can’t get the directions for the melted snowman cookies. Has anyone gotten the directions yet?

  2. If you go to Masterfoods Official site @ and then scroll down until you see A Melted Snowman Tutorial at and click on that you will find the recipe for the sugar cookies .
    Hope that helps . :)

  3. At the top of the page, there is a Google translator. Click for English, and the recipe (& pictures will appear)in English. If that doesn’t work, here is a copy of the basic recipe:

    Snowmen Cookies

Cookies’ melting snowman cookies popular in the international culinary blogs were so incredibly charming that must be found and the MW :-). Face she laughs at them, right? The basis are the buttery shortbread cookies, a foam snowman marshmallow and royal icing. Snowmen can also be made on the basis of gingerbread. Great pre-Christmas fun for kids!

Ingredients for approximately 35 cookies (8 cm diameter):

    290 g butter, cold
    1/2 – 3/4 cups granulated sugar
    1 large egg
    2.5 cups flour
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    pinch of salt

All the ingredients to throw into the food processor and mix until a smooth dough is formed sphere. You can also put all the ingredients in a bowl, chop with a knife quickly, knead briefly to call. Wrap the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

After cooling roll out the dough to a thickness of about 3 mm, podsypując lightly with flour. Cut out round shapes. Arrange on a baking sheet or mat Teflon, keeping small spaces.

Bake at 180 ° C for about 15 minutes, a slight zezłocenia. Allow to cool on a wire rack.

Decorate baked cookies – marshmallow foam glued to royal icing , which make the rest of the decoration.

    * Cookies decorated with royal icing just do not need 3/4 cup granulated sugar

    Enjoy :-).

  4. Don’t be silly just buy ready made sugar cookie dough and bake as directed then decorate them. Much less expensive that way to.
