We recently discovered a company that specializes in barn restorations and I think I’m in love. Heritage Restorations is responsible for this conversion. The barn-turned-home still maintains the original barn siding, door and the wood roof decking.
For the restoration of this 1800s barn, salvaged building materials were used to give the place an authentic feel. The owners of this retreat also show their personality with the license plate collection and steer horns hanging on the wall.
The open floor plan helps to make this 840 sq. ft. barn seem very spacious. The rustic feel remains in tact with the exposed wood beams and the wood walls that are stained. I like the various seating areas and dining table options. I would have liked pictures of the kitchen and bathroom, but you can view the sleeping loft with it’s awesome view to the lower level.
Take the tour below… Enjoy!
