1800’s Storage Unit Gets Transformed Into Stunning Urban Home

I love when old meets new. The creative use of light and space in this 1890’s era storage unit turned tiny home is astounding. This home owned and remodeled by Reddit user psychemagic is a great mix of 100 year old red brick mixed with modern clean lines. Modern clean lines of course means Ikea to all us DIY folks.

He has done an excellent job of turning this drab old empty space into a comfortable apartment in an up and coming part of Washington DC. Location Location Location is all I ever hear from my friends in the real estate business. Of course sometimes you can’t afford to live in the place you really want to be. He has found his own solution to that problem with this tiny home.

It’s a bit ambitious for the average DIYer, but with a few carpenter friends and a lot of time and patience this project could come together nicely. Would you move into a 350 square foot space if the location is what you always wanted for your home? I don’t think I could live here but more power to you’re on board with minimizing!
