I am not sure if I shared this with you guys already or not but at one time in our old house our oven was broken and we simply kept putting it off longer and longer getting it fixed. My husband wanted to just have it repaired and I wanted a brand new oven.
So, we debated and were at a stand still for several months both being extremely stubborn. In the mean time, we had to eat still and without a oven you get pretty creative and so we dusted out the crock pot and started experimenting. I wish I had a list of recipes like this during that time…
It really is a good idea to just follow a recipe as some of our experiments were total failures LOL.
