Did you know you could bake a cake in your slow cooker? We were fortunate enough to stumble upon Jack from Cooking with Jack and watch how he put together a mouth watering chocolate lava cake in just minutes in his slow cooker. If you love baking and have a sweet tooth, then this project is right up your alley!
Here is what you’ll need to make this at home:
- 1 chocolate cake mix
- 1 2/3 cups water
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
You’ll be surprised on how easy it is to make this!
- Mix the cake mix, water, eggs and oil in a large bowl
- Beat on low for about 30 seconds, then medium for 2 minutes
- Pour into a greased slow cooker (about 4 quart size)
- Whisk milk and pudding in another bowl, for about 2 minutes
- Spoon this mixture over the cake and sprinkle with the chocolate chips
- Cover and let it cook on high for 3 hours
