I hate it when things get ruined. It’s bound to happen and slowly I’ve learned to ‘let it go.’ Hehe, Anyone seen Frozen lately? One area that is especially hard for me to not freak about is with my furniture. Ahhh! Please don’t ruin that! There are little tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way to make it last longer and one of those tricks is coasters. They are very helpful and if you aren’t on board maybe these DIY glow-in-the-dark ones will do the trick! I love ‘em.

Making things glow in the dark isn’t as difficult as you’d think. Cross my heart. You just need some glow powder and a good tutorial. The powder comes in a bunch of colors and the packaging says it can be recharged millions of times. Some brands are super expensive but you get what you pay for. I’d hate to put in all the work and then only have the powder last for a week!

These coasters look easy and I love the end results! Let them sit in the sun all day long then at dusk watch something magical happen. It will turn any dinner, especially an outdoor one, into something super special! I never knew this but you can make your own photoluminescent powder. Check it out here.
