I have written about several “diversion safes” in the past, but this one is a little bit different and one of the most creative ones that I have seen yet! It has an extra feature to it. Check out the below YouTube video and be amazed. Hiding things in the fridge isn’t as secure as a wall safe. However, we DIYers tend to want to do it ourselves (and within a budget). The idea is to have the average household burglar overlook whatever it is you are hiding in there and using a modified can of mayo will do just that.
I love that The King Of Random has thought of everything. When I started watching my first thought was, what if they pick it up and realize it is too light? Grant solved that problem with plaster of paris poured into the bottom. What if the burglar picks it up and looks inside? Grant also solves that problem with a can of cat food and some of the Miracle Whip poured back into the top. Brilliant!!! Maybe you’re not ready for a DIY hiding place or maybe your diamonds need something a little more secure. If that’s the case, check out this safe from Console Vault. It’s pretty stinkin’ amazing.
Here’s the video… Enjoy!
