‘FYI, your kitchen is probably dirtier than a toilet seat.’ What?! Hey, don’t shoot the messenger. That is the title of an article published by Food and Wine and it is thoroughly disturbing. The sponges and dishcloths, sink, cutting board, countertop, and bottom shelf of the refrigerator need some help.
One way we can clean those germy areas is with disinfecting wipes. Germs be gone! The problem with those is that they can get spendy, even at Costco. Lucky for us that there are DIY versions. This is a fabulous tutorial! I think adding an essential oil would be nice. Maybe lemon? Just for a nice clean smell.
NSF (Public Health And Safety Organization) has some tips on how to clean those germy places. We want to keep our families healthy and safe and getting rid of germs is one way to do that. Check out their helpful tips here.
