What do you think of when you hear the words ‘dream home?’ High vaulted ceiling, walk-in closets, soaking tubs, breakfast nooks nestled in bay windows? That’s what comes to my mind! It would also have a big yard with trees (at least one tree) and a kitchen big enough to fit an island. Obviously I haven’t won the lottery. So this will remain a dream unless I become a better saver. Everyone’s dream is different. My dream is big. Vina Lustado’s is small, self sustainable, and off the grid. Let’s check it out!
When living in a tiny home you have to be creative. Vina definitely is that. She designed her home is such a way as that nothing was wasted. Every bit of space, inch of storage, and ray of light was taken advantage of. I love the kitchen with the horizontal windows! The loft is lovely too! It’s awesome that the deck doubles the size of her home! This home did cost $40,000 but it is her forever home and not just a temporary dwelling. See more of Vina’s story here.
